Pais Bassari (Senegal), is in an area of difficult access and very precarious living conditions, with endemic malaria and a high rate of anemia, where umbilical hernias are also frequent among the child population, which seriously affects the quality and life expectancy of those boys and girls, who do not have resources or help to be able to be treated adequately. In Ethiopia, the conditions are worse and in many cases with great lack of protection and suffering. The serious conflict in the Tigray region has created a terrible situation for the civilian population, as well as famine and thousands of victims. Infrastructures that allowed them to live have been destroyed and they urgently need all possible help and not only health. It is necessary to avoid this new humanitarian catastrophe, the population of "Tigray" does not deserve more abandonment or suffering, while the International Community indolently looks the other way, consenting to the horror and famine that is taking place there.
Populations residing in Tiankoumalal, Afia-Thiabé, Tépere, Dindefello, Segou,..., are in a situation of serious precariousness due to the lack of drinking water, as well as a lack of resources and basic infrastructures (no electricity, no sanitation, no roads , neither minimum hygiene conditions, nor sufficient medical assistance) suffering from the scarcity of means to provide themselves with daily food, which has repercussions in very precarious health and that favors many different infections and diseases that could be easily avoidable.
In Ethiopia, the situation is much more difficult, due to the current conflict that prevents peace and the arrival of humanitarian aid, holding the entire population of Tigray prisoner, which has been isolated since the beginning of the conflict and is suffering from famine and many diseases. associated with this, in addition to the suffering and consequences of war actions against the civilian population, whose most vulnerable victims are women, young people, boys and girls.
